About

Welcome. I’m a writer, organizer, and occasional artist from the marshlands of Mystic, Connecticut, based in Brooklyn, New York.

My poems, essays, and reviews have been published in Los Angeles Review of Books, The Believer, The Rumpus, Entropy, Prolit, Bomb Cyclone, and elsewhere. I write a more-or-less monthly essay newsletter called Liminal City Notebook. I received my MFA in creative writing from Rutgers University–Camden.

By day, I work as the Communications Director for NY Renews, a coalition of nearly 400 environmental justice, labor, faith, youth, and community groups organizing for climate justice across New York.

In my past lives, I’ve worked as an editor, educator, and server in many (many) restaurants. Most recently, I was a lecturer at Rutgers University–Camden, where I taught critical and creative writing and served as the Media Organizer for my union, the Rutgers Adjunct Faculty Union.
